Yoga ring

Yoga wheel

Shaped like a wide, hollow wheel, a yoga ring has a firm circular core and a cushioned outer surface. You place it beneath or beside your body, where it can roll as you move.

You can use it to ease into gentle back bends, stretch your chest and the front of your waist, and support movements for your shoulders, hips and back. It can also add a balance element to seated or standing positions.

Because the wheel rolls, you can move gradually into a stretch rather than lowering yourself over a fixed support. The ring itself is not adjustable. A firm cushion or rolled towel can offer simpler, non-rolling support.
