Trampoline
A trampoline gives you a springy surface surrounded by a frame, with either a small mat for one person or a larger area for freer movement. The mat yields under your feet and rebounds gently, so even simple standing and stepping can feel lively. Some models include a handle to hold while you get used to the motion.
You can use it for gentle bouncing, walking or jogging in place, and simple changes of direction. These movements raise your effort while asking you to stay balanced and controlled. You can also practise small jumps, side-to-side steps, knee lifts and arm movements. The responsive mat lets you make a session calmer or more energetic without travelling forward.
It suits you if you enjoy rhythmic movement and want an indoor option that feels playful rather than formal. Start with low, controlled bounces, using a handle or stable support until the spring feels familiar. A small trampoline needs floor and storage space; larger versions need more. You can scale the movement by keeping your feet close to the mat; marching on the floor is a simple alternative.
