Floor bar
Set close to the ground, a floor bar gives you a firm raised handle for exercises performed from the floor. It may be a single bar or come as a matching pair, with a wide base to limit movement. You grip it with your hands and support some of your body through it, so stability matters throughout.
You can use a floor bar for supported press-ups, steady holds, seated leg lifts and gentle stretching. The raised grip creates extra room between you and the floor, which can make different hand positions possible. Changing your body angle or keeping your feet down lets you adjust how demanding an exercise feels without adding external load.
A floor bar suits you if you enjoy simple bodyweight training and want more options than the floor alone provides. It takes up relatively little space, though you need clear room around it to move safely. Begin with stable positions and check that the bar cannot slide. For some supported movements, a sturdy chair or bench can serve as an alternative.
